4. Club Membership and Services

4.1 Memberships and Registrations

Player and membership registrations are subject to:

  • Acceptance by the club (we reserve the right to refuse any application)
  • Payment of applicable fees
  • Compliance with FA rules and regulations
  • Our codes of conduct and club policies
  • Provision of accurate information

4.2 Fees and Payments

  • All fees must be paid in full unless payment plans are agreed
  • Membership fees are generally non-refundable except at our discretion
  • We reserve the right to change fees with reasonable notice
  • Late payments may result in suspension of membership benefits

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

Membership cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds are at the club's discretion and may be subject to administration fees. We may cancel memberships for breach of terms, with refunds calculated pro-rata.

5. Code of Conduct

All members, players, parents, and supporters must:

  • Respect all players, officials, volunteers, and spectators
  • Follow FA codes of conduct and Respect guidelines
  • Not engage in discriminatory, abusive, or violent behaviour
  • Report safeguarding concerns immediately
  • Comply with matchday regulations and venue rules
  • Not bring the club into disrepute

Breaches may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of membership.

6. Health, Safety, and Insurance

Participants acknowledge that:

  • Football carries inherent risks of injury
  • The club maintains appropriate insurance but members should consider personal insurance
  • Players must disclose relevant medical conditions
  • Emergency medical consent must be provided for minors
  • The club follows health and safety regulations but cannot eliminate all risks

7. Safeguarding

Newquay AFC is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. We comply with FA safeguarding policies, require DBS checks for relevant roles, and have designated safeguarding officers. Any concerns should be reported immediately to our safeguarding officer or via [email protected].

8. Photography and Media

Sponsorship agreements are subject to separate written contracts. Sponsors must comply with FA commercial regulations and must not be associated with gambling (in youth contexts), alcohol (inappropriate contexts), or other restricted categories.
